Review on 'Vision Unusual'
Humanity has exhausted the material world and is ready to venture into new grounds. The gates of the
future are rapidly opening to an immaterial world entering a realm that is intangible, metaphysical,
super sensuous. The big problem for us, however, is that we do not know as yet how to function in this
'New World.' Although we are equipped through the process of evolution with a reasoning mind and
intuition, we have not yet learned how to make full use neither of our reasoning mind nor our intuition.
Some still ask in disbelief- what is mind? What is intuition? Is there really a world other than the
physical? Is there really a God? Does the soul exist? Since our knowledge of God and soul is connected
with religion, and we find ourselves disillusioned with religion, who and what are we supposed to believe?
All through the ages mystics, prophets and thinkers of both eastern and western hemispheres have said in
unison, there are other kingdoms of nature, other than the material, and we are wondering today, could they
be right after all? Mankind stands as a personality with the past behind, a present that is full of chaos,
a future that is unknown and finds itself facing the portal of a metaphysical world. A cycle has come to
an end and we have mastered the physical body but now what? What does the future hold? In spite of our
loud physical world some of us begin to perceive a world that is immaterial. Although blinded and deaf
most of the time, some of us do have bouts of clear vision of another world, a subtler state of being and
we begin to wonder. Paracelsus said, From the external we come to know the internal, for that reason, the
external heaven is a guide to the heaven within.... And Jung tells us: Pure psyche is set up in accord
with the structure of the universe. What happens in the macrocosm likewise happens in the infinitesimal
and more subjective reaches of the psyche.
We are accustomed to look upon the universe with a limited lens of our five senses and our experiences of
the physical world are influenced by our belief system. True conceptions, however, are only secured by
spiritual insight. This insight requires a quickening of the vibrations of the mind, and this is only
secured when the mind is continuously concentrated in a given direction. In other words, in order to
activate our mind, we need to exercise it.
Growth is one long period of building in order to destroy. Constructing in order to later disorganize,
developing certain rhythmic processes in order to disrupt them later and to force the old rhythm to
give way to the new. The well known saying 'whatsoever a man soweth that shall he also reap' says it
clearly. Actions do not produce themselves, it is we who cause actions and experience their reactions.
It is we who set up causes and feel their effects. It is not God who does it to us. We are responsible
for our actions; therefore, it is we who activate the energies and do good or evil to each other
through our thoughts, feelings and actions. There is no action unless there is a being to make it
happen and to feel its effects, and what more we never act alone. We always act on and in connection
with others, affecting them for good or evil and we get the necessary reactions, short term or long
term, from the causes set in motion by ourselves. This presents to us the idea of absolute justice.
'The Law of Justice,' another universal law. It is this law that is referred to when we are
told 'God will punish you!'
Each one of us has the same power to perceive, to experience and to learn, however, what we learn
differs, our perceptions differ, and our application of our power differs. If we change our ideas
and our attitudes, we change our actions. One way to eliminate a lot of hardships from our lives would
be to learn to recognize, to understand, to respect and to cooperate with the laws of the universe.
Visions Unusual will give you some practical insight to the immaterial world.
