FORGIVENESS
One of the major blocks for expansion of consciousness and the reason for many illnesses is not being able to forgive. Holding on to resentments, a grudge or revenge is poisonous to the body, mind and soul. Some people spend their lifetime being angry with someone or with the world in general, whom they feel has done them harm and perhaps with good reason too. Nevertheless for ones own peace of mind, sanity and health, it is better to go through a process of recognizing, facing, digesting and getting rid of this anger, rather than to keep it alive in ones mind, spreading poison through ones system.
Many hang on to the past and so fail to live and experience the present moment. The past is gone never to return. The past cannot be brought back nor can it be changed. It is definitely history. It is much more beneficial to the self to concentrate on and to live and experience the here and now, in order to change and build a better and happier future for oneself.
Jesus spoke to us about forgiveness. Forgiveness is healing.
It demands a generous heart and an open mind also love for the self, to be able to let go of emotional pain and to forgive. You are able to forgive only when you recognize and face your hurt, see it face to face, feel it and experience it again, and then willingly let it go. When you are able to do that you feel physically, emotionally and mentally light and free.
Very few people have the strength and the courage it requires to face their inner monsters, go through a digestion process and clear themselves of the poisonous negative energies that can accumulate in the psyche. For most people this is a difficult process, at times impossible and sometimes even dangerous doing more harm than good.
Seeking spiritual help can help. Faith and prayer throughout the ages, has been known to work wonders. Seeking professional therapy is the other alternative. That is why it is of advantage to seek therapeutic help, which is available in abundance nowadays. Either way it is good to face and to deal with inner anger and hurt, to let go of it and to learn to forgive.
Forgiveness means peace, freedom, health and vitality.
