The Law of Giving
Giving and receiving are part of the exchange that perpetuates the energy flow of the universe. As we are receptive to the premise of giving that which we desire to receive, the abundance of the universe is perpetuated in our lives. We must give in order to receive, and we must receive in order to give. The energy of each is equal, and the universe will respond to either with a pull of the energy of the other.
Some people say, 'Well I do give but I seldom see any sign of return.' There is a right way and a wrong way to give. There is careless impulsive giving, and there is careful, scientific giving. When we give impulsively we are retarding progress, we are wasting our substance. Where we give to one who doesn't put forth the effort to help himself, we need not expect a good return. Nature does not support a parasite or a loafer, but she gives her energy to the ones who are struggling forward. She lets the parasite and the loafer see that she will help if they put forth the effort to help themselves. But with us, if we support a loafer in what he is in, how can we expect any good returns? Rather the loafer becomes arrogant and demanding for more and more relief, until we wonder where and when it will end.
After giving, our next step is to prepare to receive the response or results of our giving and to receive, as the law states, 'good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over.' This is the exciting part, because our preparation shows our active faith. Instead of rocking and waiting, we are prepared and working. This in turn enlarges our view. It stimulates our interest, it disperses our doubt and fear, and energizes our power of reception. The key to this law is that we are continually drawing into our life what we give and expect. Therefore what we receive will be in accordance with our actions and intentions. If you want smiles and kindness from others then give smiles and kindness to others. If you want help from angels then find someone who is less privileged than you are and share your light with this person, your actions will be reflected in the invisible world and it will be a call for entities to come and do likewise for you.

The Law of Balance
This is elaboration and continuation of the law of Equalities or Fair Exchange. The law of Balance is a universal law that supersedes all of man's laws, creating stability for all third dimension manifestation. Each thought must be balanced by whomever creates it. This is divine wisdom. For every action there is a reaction. The energy of the universe is continuously flowing from action to reaction in search of balance to achieve harmony. Where there is an imbalance we usually experience irritation, discomfort and pain.
Duality of perception leads to perfect balance that governs the universal law of One. Negative and positive create a perfect balance and do not negate the law of One. Any message communicated in love validates equality. Low self-esteem is just as non productive as a puffed up sense of self esteem. They both deny equality. The law of Cosmic Balance is considered to be the foundation for the universe wherein the forces of nature are in a state of constant equilibrium. However, the equilibrium of the universe is not absolute because there is a constant oscillation and it is this slight lack of equilibrium that keeps the universe in constant motion perpetually active. If there was a perfect balance and harmony the universe would be in a state of inertia, stagnant, absolutely immobile and manifestation would not be possible. The vital thing is that this imbalance should not be too great or else it would lead to total destruction. The key is to learn to work with the forces and not to sway too far from that golden middle line. In other words avoid extremes.
